With a bricklaying trade and several diplomas under his belt, Terry Becker co- founded Jakanda and has been in the building game for over 38 years. Aspiring to create a family legacy and embrace entrepreneurship,
Terry adeptly manages diverse roles, from quoting to orchestrating work schedules. His dedication and vast experience assure Jakanda's professional and seamless operation.
Office Manager
Michelle plays a pivotal role at Jakanda, managing finances, and fostering client relationships. Passionate about the growth of apprentices and ensuring client satisfaction, she values the team's high-quality work. A devoted community contributor. .
Michelle also finds balance in family time, walks, and coastal trips.

At Jakanda, Shane spearheads the realms of quotes and design. Leveraging his in- depth understanding of architectural aesthetics and cost structures, he provides our clients with tailored solutions that balance beauty and budget.

Construction Manager
Jack Becker, our esteemed Construction Manager, combines licensed carpentry and completed builder's training to manage projects adeptly. A former high-achieving footballer, Jack values fitness and family time.
His expertise is anchored in his diverse skills, culminating in superior construction solutions and teamwork.
Carpenter
Connor Becker, a newly qualified carpenter, enhances our on-site work with his recent trade course expertise. An outdoors enthusiast, he recently navigating the rugged terrains of Birdsville on a 4WD tour.
Known for his popularity, Connor brings an energetic spirit and passion for carpentry to our team..
Site Supervisor
Peter has been in the building game for over 35 years, including 15 at JAKANDA with Terry and Michelle, expertly liaises with clients, colleagues, contractors, and suppliers for efficient, low-impact builds. His love for the challenge of redesigning and construction surpasses his past experience with new builds.
A happily married father of four sons and a pet owner, Peter brings both professional and personal dedication to our team.
carpenter/Builder
Mat Mullampy- Terry and Michelle have known Mat since his High school days. Leveraging his extensive knowledge, Mat mentors our apprentices, contributing to a culture of learning.
Balancing work with family time, he is a dedicated parent and an avid Roosters football fan.
Carpenter
Recently graduated from his apprenticeship at Jakanda, Alex proves his mettle as an exceptional young worker, already embarked on his Builder's course. Valuing time with friends and family, he Recently toured from Sydney to Birdsville then to Airlie Beach & back home.
Alex represents the future of our industry with his ambition and balance.
Apprentice Carpenter
Currently apprenticing at Jakanda, Baley demonstrates rapid learning and a passion for his craft. His personal life, marked by quality family time and involvement in Representative Rugby League, mirrors his commitment on-site.

Mitch, an apprentice at Jakanda, is known for his quick learning and dedication. A sociable personality, Mitch enjoys spending time with friends and family and has an interesting past as an amateur boxer.
